BLS for Healthcare Providers

This classroom-based course sets the foundation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation efforts in and out of the hospital setting. We stress the importance of high quality CPR with explanation of key points. This training includes but is not limited to the following topics addressing adult, child, and infant patients:

  • Adequate depth and rate of compressions
  • Allowing full chest recoil
  • Use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
  • Ventilations using a BVM (Bag Valve Mask)
  • Choking relief
