HeartCode for BLS, ACLS, & PALS

For those seeking an alternative (nonclassroom) method for completing the above courses, Heart Code training is available.

Part 1- Complete the Internet based, self paced instructional program where providers develop their cognitive skill and are tested on those skills.

Part 2- Upon completion of Part 1, providers schedule their practical skills assessment with the appropriate AHA instructor. After proving proficiency in both cognitive and practical skills, providers obtain the desired AHA certification card.

It is strongly recommended that students review the course materials contained within the program and complete the Pre-course Self-Assessment prior to attempting the patient cases.

Those who are interested in ACLS & PALS courses must have prior knowledge of will be in the treatment algorithm such as identify ECG rhythms, pharmacology specific to cardiopulmonary arrest, and have mastered BLS provider skills. Unprepared or inexperienced students may require additional time to complete.
